Hello, treasured friends!
I’ve three exciting things to share with you this morning!
First, after long deliberation, I’ve settled upon a branding image!
Many thanks to those of you who shared your thoughts regarding my proposed brand, tagline, and logo! I received each of your opinions with gratitude, both for the insights you shared, and for the fact that you took the time to share them!
I studied the image options, mulled over your words, set to work with my paintbrushes and pens, and here’s what came forth:
Second, meet Nourish & Thrive: Happy, Healthy Childbearing.
Nourish & Thrive is a sixty-page paperback publication that was born a short stack of articles I wrote for my clients through the early days of my practice. That stack of papers then morphed into a series of blog posts, from that series of blog posts into an ebook, and, finally, from that ebook into this paperback.
The topics explored within the pages of Nourish & Thrive include the safety of birthing at home, lifestyle considerations for expectant and nursing mothers, the value of vision for optimal pregnancy and childbearing, what to expect at and around homebirth, and options for handling a variety of discomforts and disorders common to moms and babies.
If you’d like to make copies of Nourish & Thrive available to your own clients or to stock them in your store, orders of ten or more may be purchased for $7.99 each. Email me for details!
Third, as many of you know, a smidge over a year ago I completed the first draft of a memoir chronicling the nine incredible years I spent immersed in a homebirth midwifery apprenticeship.
As I described in the recent post, Born For This, through the months since, I’ve worked with diligence to hone my craft, to clarify my content, and to cultivate a platform in order to propel the project from manuscript to publication.
This endeavor continues!
My most recent news is, I’ve submitted the newest version of the memoir’s proposal to a handful of literary agents, each of whom has thrilled me by expressing a measure of interest in it!
Will you keep me in your prayers as I move ever onward, and will you share this post with your family and friends? This has required – and requires – so much courage! Plus, with an eye toward enticing one of these agents and, hopefully soon thereafter, a publisher to take me on, my list of readers, followers, and subscribers must continue to grow!
Again and again, thank you for your amazing support and encouragement!
I’ll keep you informed as I forge ahead!
Blessings!
