“Kim Osterholzer gives us a rare glimpse into the heart of the Amish community. Beautifully written. A Midwife in Amish Country is destined to become a classic for midwives and those who aspire to be.”
—Serena B. Miller, award-winning author of More Than Happy: The Wisdom of Amish Parenting and fully eighteen lovely novels, two of which have been transformed into film
Jill Roper, a beloved fellow midwife and member of our superlative launch team, wrote me one morning in January to say she knew the renown Serena Miller and thought I ought to contact her about reading my book and writing an endorsement. She introduced us on Facebook and Serena had her endorsement back to me within a week!
Serena B. Miller began life as the wife of a minister and the mother of three sons, and she began composing what would one day become her novels and films while her boys were yet in school.
Serena published her first book, Love Finds You In Sugarcreek, in 2010, and a Hollywood producer made it into an award-winning TV movie three years later. She’s published a great many books since then, and has been awarded the Romance Writer’s of America RITA award for The Measure of Katie Calloway and the American Christian Fiction Writer’s CAROL award for A Promise To Love. Serena’s novel, Under A Blackberry Moon, was a finalist in the CHRISTY awards. Most recently, her novel, An Uncommon Grace, was used to create a movie for the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel.
Serena, thank you with all of my heart for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my book and endorse it! I’m blessed and honored and so grateful ♥
