ParTY!

What a full life! I plan to write a little something more about my time in Michigan–especially among Hannah’s Amish clients as, oh my, have we some stories to tell–but ARGH! It isn’t going to happen this week.

That, however, somehow reminded me to tell you a bit about a party we had right here in the Springs over the summer!

Amye and Jeff Olivero were so kind as to open their home to the passel of people I call my Colorado Clients on a breezy July evening. Fully one-quarter of the folks I’ve attended so far out west were able to make it, and that with at least another quarter of clients away from the state!

And what a wonderful evening it was with moms and babes in arms and dads and a great many lovely little ones milling around! I treasured the opportunity to introduce families to one another, to catch up, and to tumble about with the kids–climbing and sliding and swinging and catching to our hearts’ content.

It was a snapshot of something I hope to see more of, to facilitate more of–the crafting and cultivation of community.

Thank you sooo much, Amye and Jeff, for your hospitality!

Thank you sooo much, all of you who were able to come and join in the fun!

To next year!
